WEBeci is a tool designed to help manage your health care claims and keep track of your health care benefits more easily and efficiently. Quite simply, it provides you with complete access to your own claim records and benefit plan on-line.
The on-line help system opens as a separate window in your web browser after you left-click the HELP topic displayed on your WEBeci navigation bar.
In the Table of Contents (on the left), on-line help is organized by topic. Each topic addresses a specific WEBeci screen or issue. Topics are listed in the Table of Contents—as far as possible—in the order the average new user will encounter them. To access any listed topic, left-click on the adjacent question mark icon. Can't find the information you're looking for? Take a quick peak at the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) topic.
While your HELP window will open to the topic you are visiting in WEBeci, you can navigate to any other listed topic by:
Left-clicking the corresponding listing in the Table of Contents.
Left-clicking the INDEX button at the top of the HELP window, entering the key word or phrase in the keyword entry field, and pressing ENTER. If that word or phrase has been captured in the Index, the Index will display one or more links to topics using your keyword.
Left-clicking the SEARCH button at the top of the HELP window, entering the key word or phrase in the keyword entry field, and pressing ENTER. If that word or phrase exists within on-line help system as a whole (i.e. not just the Index), the topics it appears in will be listed on the left side of the screen as links.
Blue, underlined text identifies hyperlinks that you can double-click to access additional information.
Clicking on green, underlined text prompts the system to display additional information (in the form of expanding or drop-down text blocks) that you can view without leaving your current topic.
When you have finished reading a help file, you can either close the window or minimize it if you wish to be able to refer back to it while you are in a particular section of the main WEBeci application window. You can also print help topics as needed.
