Patient Information Screen

1. The Patient Information section provides the following:

1. • General Information- name, date of birth, gender, relationship to Insured, current eligibility status and alternate ID.

   • Demographics - social security number, address, home and work phone numbers.

   • Insurance Coverages - shows the effective date entered on the search page, policy types the patient is covered under (major medical, dental, RX) as of the effective date, and provides a link to a Health Plan Info section.

   • Patient Preferred Pharmacy - shows the patient's preferred pharmacy to pick up prescriptions.

2. From the main Patient Information screen, you can also view the patient's benefit accumulations  by clicking on the View Accumulations link.  

Troubleshooting

• I don't see the patient's plan information.

  Each health plan administrator provides ECI with its health plan to put online. If you don't see the patient's health plan online, the administrator has not provided this information to ECI. Please contact the health plan administrator for more information (see Resources).

• The patient informed me that the last name/address online is incorrect.

  The patient cannot update their personal information online for security reasons. Please ask the patient to contact their health plan administrator to make the change.
