A: Select Maintenance > Users and search for her by name, User ID.  Assign an appropriate role to your assistant.

If your health insurer has not defined an appropriate role, you will first need to define a new role (see Step 3, Define Your Roles under Setting Up WEBeci for the First Time.)

Recommended Capabilities for an Administrative Assistant in Charge of WEBeci Maintenance:

Allow the administrative assistant to perform all of the same duties as a sponsor EXCEPT FOR the ability to view employee claims and accumulators.

To create an Administrative Assistant role:

1. Copy the Sponsor role.
2. Rename the role (e.g., Admin Assistant).
3. De-select the View Accumulators and View Claims options.

Don't forget to assign that role to your administrative assistant in WEBeci!

A: Select Employee Search from the main menu. Enter the Employee ID and the Eligibility Date of the Insured.

Once you have selected the desired eligibility period you can view the associated benefit information in WEBeci.

B: Select Claim Search from the main menu.  Enter the Employee ID and then select the desired search option.

You can then view the claims information for your selection.

A: Select User Settings. In the New Password and Password fields, enter your new password. In the Password Hint field, enter a password hint which will remind you of the new password.

A: Select the Forget Password? link on the log in page of WEBeci. Your password reminder will pop-up. If that doesn't work, contact your health plan administrator.

Note: If an employee doesn't remember their password, you can assign a new password to them, which they can then change (when enabled by your health plan administrator).

A: Does the employee have coverage in effect? Does your plan require a 90-day waiting period before eligibility? If this does not account for the missing employee, contact health plan administrator for assistance.

A: Select Employee Information to search for the Employee. Select Benefits on your navigation bar.

Reminder!

If your health plan administrator chose NOT TO ADD PLANS, your employees will not see a Benefits link on their navigation bar at all.  Employees will have to request this information from you if they misplace their plans or need an answer quickly.

If you do not see a Benefits link, reach out to your health plan administrator to request this feature.
